"Similarly, there is a large empirical literature on the effect of democracy on economic growth. "The present research aims to help develop students’ writing skills and literary appreciation by applying a model based on the reader-response strategy and visual symbols. Specifically, it comparatively examines acceptability, impact, strengths, and shortcomings of the Personal Family literacy learning model in promoting students’ writing skills. The research adopts a quantitative approach to a quasi-experiment design. To analyze students' writing, a qualitative approach was also used.
