Psalms 4 and verse 3 states: "But know that the Lord has set apart him that is _______________ for himself..."

A good reason why we pray is that it is one if the most personal ways to experience God.

If any of you lack knowledge let him ask of God... James 1:5

Philippians 4:6 ends with these exact words: "... In everything by prayer and thanksgiving let your request be made known unto God."

One of the shortest texts found in the Bible is 1 Thessalonians 5:17

Psalms 55:17 KJV declares: "Evening and morning and at night I will pray..."

Matthew 7:7 says: "Pray and it shall be given you..."

Becoming silent, giving adoration and making confession are all parts of understanding the purpose and power of prayer.
