What is Mr. Sunga's "Why"? Why does he choose to teach Middle School Orchestra?
He loves the gift of Music and wants to teach and share this gift with the next generation in hopes that it will bring some joy and love in this world.
He was a shy little kid and in Middle School he joined Orchestra. Orchestra changed his life for the better. He learned about perseverance, grit, and to find peace and confidence in practicing and being prepared. These skills developed all through High School and College and even in his current life.
Orchestra and music has connected him with many amazing people. Through his musical friends, Mr. Sunga will be fulfilling one of his dreams of performing on his cello in the American Airline Center this September. He hopes that this opens more performing opportunities.
