Can band saws cut fairly straight lines and curved cuts, but not perfectly straight lines.

Always keep your hands on both sides of the blade, never align with the blade

If the blade breaks or falls off, it should be immediately shut down and kept away.

When cutting circular materials such as wooden sticks, use a V-block to prevent the material from rotating.

Can the bandsaw be adjusted during operation, as long as you are careful?

If you think your fingers are too close to the blade, using scrap blocks or push sticks to complete the cut is a good practice.

If you enter a cut that is too steep, always stop the machine, wait for it to stop, then back up, and then try again

Always stand in front of the saw blade, never on the right side. (If the blade breaks, it will move to the right)

Should the blade guide/protector be placed 1/8" above the material you are cutting?
