"For a Synodal Church: Communion, Participation, and Mission" is the theme of the Synod of Bishop in 16th Ordinary General Assembly.

Only the Pope, Bishops, Priests, and Religious are included and can participate in Synod.

In Synod, we, the baptized Christians are part of this journey.

Synod came from "syn" (together) and "hodos" (way) which mean "we are all servants of the Lord".
