Meditation verse for the book of first kings’ chapters 21&22:

In Chapter 21 we learned about King Ahab seeking the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite, and how Jezebel planed for the murder of Naboth. God sees everything and He sent the prophet Elijah with a message to Ahab.

In Chapter 22 we learned about the death of Ahab as the Elijah the prophet prophesied. God warned him many times to repent but he listened to his evil wife.

In Chapter 21 verse 29 we see that Ahab was sad for his sin, and he listened to God’s warning through Elijah the prophet, but he didn’t continue in his repentance and change his wicked ways, so he perished as Elijah prophesied. The true repentance should lead to a change of the bad ways.
