They have a unicameral legislature. They did this in 1935 in order to save money during the Great Depression

The US Senate is based on geography, borders and culture with a disregard for population. The House of Representatives is completely based on population. The State of --- did the same thing with its two house legislature, but was told they could not do that in 1960.
