It turned out to be that one day; I got brief explanation for this case. Not from a person, but it was an unpleasant and unforgettable which had taught me about this.

It happened one Saturday evening when I and my friend, Andri, were going to visit another friend who lived some distances away by riding bicycle. As usual, I gave Andri a ride because he didn’t have bike. Since my bike didn’t have any back-saddle, Andri sat on the front horizontal bar of my bicycle. We had done it several time, so I thought it would be just fine. We faced quite difficult path to get to our friend’s house. It was a gravel path that felt so slippery and wet by the recent rain. Although it was wobbling along all the way, we could manage this rough ride.

Our misfortune started as we passed by a stream. I was going too close to the bank. I didn’t realize that the rain had made the ground softer than usual. Suddenly, the soil slid and we were instantly tumbling head over heels into the stream.

We plunged into the stream, started with the bicycle first, followed by Andri, then me. Usually the stream is clear and only few centimeters deep. However, that time was a lot deeper about a meter and the water was brown full of dirt.
