These are the Director’s RIGHT hand people. They are the BRIDGE between the various areas of theatre.

Responsible for creating, editing and mixing layers of countless audio elements. Role includes finding, recording and editing the sound effects to be used in production and post-production.

This person creates the SOUNDTRACK for the play.

Responsible for the design of the lighting and special effects used in the production. Creates a PLOT to show where the instruments will go, how they will face, and any other focus notes.

Work backstage during performances to keep the show running smoothly and safely. They are in charge of moving scenery, special effects such as trap doors or helping actors "fly,", keeping track of props, and even operating lighting and sound elements.
