MOA: Substituye por Thymidine -> (-) thymidylate phosphorylase -> (-) DNA viral replication

MOA: gets incorporated into viral DNA during replication -> defective proteins and increased mutation rate. Also have Antineoplastic activity.

When used with Sofosbuvir, indicated for HCV genotypes 1,4,5 and 6.

Inidicated in the prophylaxis of influenza, specifically POST exposure.

MOA: inhibits of influenza virus neuraminidase enzymes -> no viral entry, release & spread

Its absorption is unaffected by co-administration with food.

Side effects: delirium and abnormal behavior leading to injury.
