I've been reading a lot of Alexander Hamilton's writing and I agree with him that a strong national government will help unite the country.

I do not agree with ratification of the Constitution because I think the Articles of Confederation do a better job or protecting the rights of the states and people.

I think I will vote in favor of ratifying the Constitution because I think it's so much better than the Articles of Confederation

I think that the federal government should be the final authority. If not, then aren't we just separate countries loosely connected?

We have to be careful! A president might quickly become a tyrant or king. Remember King George III? This country will not stand for another tyrant!

Hamilton might be arrogant, but he knows what's best for this country. I agree with him and John Adams

There should NOT be a federal army. This would lead to disaster and the people would be bullied into obeying the government.

I refuse to ratify the Constitution unless a Bill of Rights is added- We have to make sure people have rights and states are given some control.

We don't need a Bill of Rights. We can trust the Federal Government to respect the rights of the people. By maintaining order, the Constitution will give the people peace and security.
