Work comes naturally to people, like play

Workers are pretty lazy and mostly motivated by money

Not all levels of the hierarchy are met by work

Maslow though workers were mostly motivated by money

It can't work in jobs with high pay/salary

Self-esteem

Social

Physiological

Motivate at work

Causes dissatisfaction at work

Workers should be paid more depending on efficient they are

To motivate a workforce, all the hygine factors must be met

Jobs should be designed to be meaningful and interesting

Workers should be motivated by higher order needs like self esteem

Work should be broken down into small tasks

Pay isn't important to employees

Workers should be piece rate pay, pay depends on how hard they work

Social needs can be met at work by having social events, like parties.

Work is boring and employee feel like they are 'part of a machine'

Not all levels of the hierarchy of needs can be met at work

Motivators and hygine factors can be different for different employees

Money isn't the only thing that motivates employees
