Halloween Route

We found the best possible route to get the most candy. First, we mapped out all the locations we would visit and the houses with the best candy so we could reloop and get candy a second time. We will also bring two bags, one full of candy, and the other empty show them the empty one and they will likely give you more candy because they see you have none. Also I plan to bring two masks so i can go back to the good houses with a different costume and get more good candy. Were going to aim to get jumbo size candy and repeat the same route twice. Then, we will trade candy when we get home.

Nats vs. Astros

The Washington Nationals have a better record than the Houston Astros. For many reasons many people think the Nats are better, the biggest being they beat them in the World series. This causes their record to be better as well as their trophy case. But even though the Astros historically have been better postseason. The tides have changed. The Washington Nationals are world champions and will next season as well, hopefully. Since the Nationals won this year they will have the edge on the Astros leading into next season. Because of this, the Nationals will continue to destroy the Astros every year. The Nationals boast some of the best pitchers in the league this causes the load on the hitting lineup to decrease.

Global Warming

Pollution is causing global warming because the smoke and chemicals get into the atmosphere and trap heat which would otherwise leave the planet. This causes glaciers to melt. Glaciers melting cause the ocean levels to rise and heat up. If oceans heat up, then many fish and plants in the ocean will die. Also, rising ocean levels will flood cities along the coast.

5th grade and 6th grade are very different from each other. For one thing, in 6th grade, you have 7 classes. In 5th grade, you only have 5 classes. On the other hand, in 6th grade, you have gym class every day, instead of recess. In 5th grade you have gym class once a week, but recess every day. In 6th grade, you have a lot more independence in a bigger school. In 5th grade, you have barely any independence, but a smaller school. The dilemma is how we use plastic way to frequently in our daily lives. The average human throughs away 185 pounds of plastic per year. Plastics is used in all of our daily lives and there isn’t a very clear way to escape it. Plastic bags, straws, soda bottles, etc are carried into the ocean and picked up by the Pacific Ocean every day. Of course, there is the reusable bottles and the hydroflasks, but does anyone really commit to it? Plastic is always going to be a part of our lives but there are simple things that we can do. Instead of using flimsy plastic bags, buy a reusable bag to put your groceries in. There are other things that we can do to help put this is one of the most simple and easy for everyone.

During a flood there is plenty of water, and most people wouldn’t think that dehydration was a serious risk, but flood waters are mostly polluted and not safe to drink. People who drink the contaminated water may suffer from illnesses or diseases such as typhoid. You can prepare for flooding by filling many containers with fresh clean drinking water. You can also use sandbags to protect your house and to soak up the water. Be prepared and be safe.
