The משנה says that all the ​ (a)   that a ​ (b)   is commanded to do for the ​ (c)   , a ​ (d)   is commanded to do them for his children, a ​ (e)   is not commanded.

The ​ (a)   says that there are ​ (b)   or 6 things that the ​ (c)   (not the ​ (d)   ) is commanded to do for his ​ (e)   .

A ​ (a)   (not the mother) is commanded to do (or arrange) the ​ (b)   of his son. This is learned from the פסוקים that ​ (c)   (not ​ (d)   ) was commanded to do the ברית מילה on ​ (e)   .

A ​ (a)   (not the mother) is commanded to do (or arrange) the ​ (b)   of his first born son. This is learned from ​ (c)   that the father must do (or arrange) the פדיון הבן of his first born son and not his first born ​ (d)   , and the פסוקים teach us that since she doesn’t get redeemed, so too she doesn’t have to ​ (e)   .

A ​ (a)   (not the mother) is commanded to teach his ​ (b)   ​ (c)   . This is learned from ​ (d)   that the father must teach his son תורה and not his ​ (e)   , and the פסוקים teach us that since she doesn’t get taught תורה by her father, so too she doesn’t have to teach her son.

A ​ (a)   is commanded to marry off his ​ (b)   as is learned from the ​ (c)   that ​ (d)   told the men who went into גלות (​ (e)   ) to marry off their sons and daughters.

A ​ (a)   is commanded to teach his ​ (b)   a trade as is learned from the ​ (c)   that compares livelihood and marriage. The same way a father is commanded to ​ (d)   off his son so too a father is commanded to teach his son a ​ (e)   .
