With scales so gleaming, and eyes that gleam,

I rest on my stone, as still as a dream.

I stand tall and proud, with lights aglow,

A symbol of the holiday, and a sight to see and show.

I'm decorated with ornaments, and topped with a star,

Bringing joy and happiness, near and far.

I bring the magic of the season, to all who pass by,

A shining beacon, under the winter sky.

I welcome you, to a terrace so fine,

With a rocking stone, that always aligns.

I am a device, that brings life to the still,

With a jolt of electricity, from my fill.

I sit in a box, on a wall or a shelf,

With two metal paddles, I charge up and then,

Deliver a shock, that brings life back again.

We are eight brave souls, on the back of a giant beast,

Riding high and fast, on this aquatic feast.

With fins and scales, and a mighty tail,

We journey on, leaving waves in our trail.

I am a heap, of black rubber bands,

Stacked one on top, with no plans.

Round and robust, I have a lot of tread,

Ready for the road, when I leave this bed.

I used to be a big tree, reaching for the sky,

But now I'm just a trunk, cut down and very shy.

With a flat top and smooth sides, I'm short but still strong,

I still have a story to tell, even though I'm not very long.

We are seven friends, gathered 'round a flame,

With stories to share, and games to play the same.

We bask in the heat, and enjoy the night,

Sitting close together, all bathed in firelight.

I am a bin, of white, granular stuff,

That helps when it's cold, and the roads are rough.

I help keep you safe, when the weather is rough,

So the roads are clear, and your journey isn’t tough.

I am a creature, of stone, from above,

Perched on a building, like a symbol of love.

With wings outstretched, and a snarling face,

I protect what's beneath, with a strong embrace.

I'm a place of honour and respect, where memories live on,

For those who bravely fought, and now their battle's gone. With rows of stones and statues, standing tall and proud,

I pay tribute to the fallen, and their story will never be unwound.

I once stood tall and proud, reaching for the sky,

But now I lay on the ground, with my branches spread high. With a message still written, in blue that won't pass by,

I continue to tell a story, even as I lie.

I'm a sign with a cat on it, you can see me on a door,

I tell you what to do, or welcome you more.

Just look at my furry friend, and everything will be alright.

I am a giant stone, weighty and round,

A natural treasure, that's been here, on this ground.

Through the centuries, I've witnessed so much,

From the rise of civilizations, to the touch of the winds' clutch.

I am a place, where the sick come to heal,

With walls of sunshine, and a spirit that's real.

Yellow as the sun, and bright as can be,

I am a beacon, for all to see.

I offer care, and hope, and a cure,

I'm a symbol of direction, with a sunny hue,
