The four varnes were divided into thousands o smaller groups based on the tpe of work people do.

An indian social class whose members are restricted in the jobs the may take and in their associated with members of others castes

Not part of the Varna lowest level of society did work that Varna Indians could not (collect trash skinning animals carrying dead bodies)
