Last holiday, I went to Paris. I visited museums and sat in public gardens. A friendly waiter taught me a few words of French. Then he lent me a book. I read a few lines, but I did not understand a word. Every day, I thought about postcards. My holidays passed quickly, but I did not send any cards to my friends. On the last day, I made a big decision, I got up early and bought thirty seven cards. I spent the whole day in my room, but I did not write a single card!

At noon, we started to feel hungry, so we decided to head to the nearest food stall. The fish looked fresh and there were a lot of seafood menu listed here. We ordered grilled fishes. We had a wonderful holiday in Bali.
It was a really great place. The people were friendly, the food was great, and the weather was a lot better than at home.
Most days were pretty. I swam two or three times a day, but my brother Fachri just spent all his time lying on the beach with his eyes closed.
Last Saturday I got on the bus and went to the north of the island, It was much quieter there than here–very beautiful, but no tourists. The next day we went across to
the east coast to see some of the old villages.
I learned Balinese–I couldn’t say much, but it was fun to try.
I cannot forget it because that’s unforgettable experience for me.

Last weekend, my friends and I went camping. We built the camp next to a small river.
It was getting darker and colder, so we built a fire camp. The next day, we spent our time observing plantation and insects while the girls were preparing meals. In the afternoon we went to the river and caught some fish for supper.
At night, we held a fire camp night. We sang, danced, read poetry, played magic tricks, and even some of us performed a standing comedy.
On Monday, we packed our bags and got ready to go home. It was wonderful experience in my life.

Last week, l went to the lake for fishing. It was the suitable time for fishing because I had nothing to do. I went there with my friends.
Arriving at the lake, I directly went to the best spot to get a giant fish. It was under the big tree at the bank of the lake. I threw my hook as far as I could then I waited for the fish eating my bait. It had been 15 minutes and I finally saw the sign that there was a fish eating my bait. I tried to pull it up and I succeeded. I got a three kilogram fish.
I got so many fish that day even though I was so tired. I was so excited. I think I will visit the spot again in the next holiday.

I did what she ordered. Still alarm beeped.
After that the security asked me to turn back and she checked my body. She touched my left pocket. Then she told me, “There was something in it. it might be the things that made the alarm beeped”. Fifteen minutes passed and then, at five to twelve, the clock stopped. The big minute hand did not move. We waited and waited, but nothing happened. The unforgettable moment involved bush fires and loss. At the age of eight growing up in Warrandyte a town located in Victoria Australia. It was January 1962 in a family built home amongst bushland of eucalypts and native trees. A wonderful childhood growing up listening to wildlife, bush walking and cubby - houses. Warrandyte had a history going back to 1939 of serious bush fires. In January 1962 a very serious fire broke out and as the situation intensified with huge amounts of bellowing smoke and reports of fierce northerly winds. High temperatures and a very dry inflammable undergrowth. It was obvious that our family would need to leave our home to save ourselves. Grabbing a few blankets my teddy bear and very little else all squeezed into a small car My father remained with the house and a hose with poor water pressure to spray down the house and vegetation. Very late that night after settling down in a friends home and waiting to hear news - my father arrived with the tragic news that our home and all our belongings had been destroyed. The fire has left a blackened block of land with a lonely chimney. 450 homes were lost and 30 people lost their lives. We survived and many didn't . Our family started again and lived on donations until we later rebuilt our home in exactly the same location. I remember this day as if it was yesterday. Thank you for inviting me to write this unforgettable moment.

When I was about 10, a family friend, also 10, and I were hanging out behind our ski house in VT. Another friend was a younger girl, about 8, who was sliding around on the frozen pond behind the house. We heard a “CRACK!” and some screaming. She had fallen through the ice. We couldn’t pull her out, so we jumped in and lifted her out. Then we scrambled to pull ourselves out and we carried her back to the house.
