Follow the written instructions from the parents and keep the medicine out of the reach of children

Take the medicine yourself in front of the child to show that it's safe

Encourage the child to take the medicine because it tastes like candy

Have the child sit down, gently press the top of nose, and have the child lean their head forward

Have the child lie down and tilt their head back

Apply an ice pack over the child's nose immediately

Apply ice to the burn and then cover with a bandage

Call the parents and wait for their instructions before taking any action

Immediately run cool water over the burned area, then cover with a clean bandage

Call 911 immediately for a minor cut or scrape

Leave the cut or scrape as it is without taking any action

Wash the cut with warm, soapy water, dab with a clean gauze pad, and cover with a bandage

Put the victim in hot water to alleviate the injury

Make the individual drink ice water immediately

Get the person to a shady area, and apply cold compresses

Give the child a glass of water to drink to dislodge the object

Immediately start performing CPR on the child

Encourage the child to continue to cough, and if there is no sound, lips are blue, or the child is clearly struggling then begin the Heimlich

Call 911 and give CPR until help takes over, the person starts breathing or the scene is unsafe.

Call the parents ask for permission before taking any action

Apply ice packs to the chest area immediately

Check for bleeding, then using 2 fingers, begin CPR

Hold them upside down and do 5 thrusts and 5 back blows.
