The Lion and The Mouse

Once upon a time in a lush and magnificent forest, there lived a majestic lion who was known as the king of all the beasts. The lion was very proud of his strength and power, and all the creatures in the forest respected and feared him.

One hot summer day the lion was resting comfortably in the shade of a large tree. While the lion was sleeping soundly, a small mouse was scurrying through the forest in search of food. In its hurry, the mouse accidentally ran over the Lion's body. The lion was jolted awake by the disturbance and felt irritated. He opened his eyes and saw the small trembling in fear. The lion roared, "How dare you disturb my sleep! Do you know who I am? Let's see what I will do with you!"

The frightened Mouse quickly spoke up, "Pease, Mighty lion! Forgive me I did not mean to disturb you if you spare my life. I promise I will never bother you again and might even be able to help you one day."

The lion looked at the mouse with a the skeptical gaze he thought, "How could a tiny Mouse like this ever help me?" But then with a shrug, the lion decided, "You are so small and insignificant that it's not worth my worry. I will spare you. Go away before I change my mind."

The mouse quickly thanked the lion and said, "Thank you, Mighty Lion. I will never forget your kindness."

The mouse hurriedly scampered away into the forest while the lion returned to his nap, no longer thinking much about the incident.

One day while the lion was wandering through the forest searching for food he found himself trapped in a hunter's net set up to catch other animals. The lion struggled desperately to free himself but the net only tightened around him. The Lions frustrated, roars echoed through the forest. The mouse heard the familiar cries for help and decided to see if it could offer any assistance. When the mouse arrived and saw the lion trapped, it was scared, but remembered its promise. The mouse said, "Lion, don't worry. I will help you."

The mouse began to gnaw at the ropes of the net with its tiny teeth. After a while, the rope started to break and eventually the lion was freed. The lion looked at the mouse with astonishment and gratitude. He said, "I was wrong to underestimate the value of small creatures. Today, I have learned an important lesson about kindness and assistance. Thank you for saving me."

The mouse smiled and replied, "We should never judge others based on their size or appearance. Everyone, no matter how small, can be of great help in times of need."

From that day on, the lion and the mouse became good friends. The lion learned to value and respect even the smallest creatures while the mouse was always ready to help when needed.
