Place the following in the correct order, when using the Band Saw!
Adjust the fence, so it's the proper distance from the blade. This should be set to how wide you want your piece to be cut.
Stand in front of the Band Saw and have a partner standing on the other side, ready to catch the piece(s) you cut.
Turn the band saw on!
Keep the wood against the fence and slowly push it into the blade to make the cut.
Use a push stick to push the wood piece the rest of the way through safely.
What is the purpose of a "Push Stick"?
