Using social media during class is allowed as long as you are finished with your assignments.

Repeated misuse of a phone can affect your participation grade.

You may have up to 3 unexcused absences without penalty.

More than 6 total absences (excused or unexcused) may result in failure or withdrawal from the course.

Three late arrivals to class count as one absence.

A 25% grade deduction is applied for each day an assignment is late.

You can make up missed work for any reason, as long as you notify the instructor.

An original doctor’s note is required to make up work due to medical illness.

Assignments are typically graded within 14 days of the due date.

Using a translator for a full paragraph is acceptable in this class.

Academic integrity violations can result in a zero on the assignment and a report to the Academic Integrity Office.
