One morning, Logan was playing in her backyard when she had a big surprise! She heard strange sounds coming from behind a tree. When she went to look, she saw a little brown puppy playing there! Its tiny tail wagged back and forth as it ran in circles.

Logan petted and played with the puppy for a while. Then she decided she should help the puppy find its owner. She put the puppy on a leash, and she and her dad walked it down the street. The puppy sniffed every flower they passed along the way. At each house, they knocked and asked if anyone had lost a puppy.

Finally, they found the puppy’s owner! When the woman opened the door, she was so happy to see her lost dog. She had tears in her eyes as she gave her puppy a big hug. Logan smiled as the puppy barked happily and wagged its tail even faster. Logan felt a little sad saying goodbye to her new friend, but she was glad she could help.
