Raden Adjeng Kartini was born on April 21st, 1879 as the daughter of Raden Mas Ario Sosroningrat and MA Ngasirah, daughter of Haji Siti Aminah and Haji Madirono, a religious teacher in Telukawur, Jepara. The first and last child at the same time, Soesalit Djojoadhiningrat , born on 13 September 1904. A few days later, 17 September 1904, Kartini died at the age of 25 years. Kartini was buried in Bulu Village, District of Bulu, Rembang.
