In 2023, Filipino drag artist Pura Luka Vega went viral after a video of them performing a rock remix of Ama Namin (The Lord’s Prayer) while dressed in a costume resembling the Black Nazarene of Quiapo Church.

Regarding the Ama Namin controversy, he said he appreciated the reimagined way of singing Ama Namin.
