The chosen idea is then developed into a detailed design. This may include drawings, models, or plans that explain how the solution will work.

Engineers then construct and test a prototype. Testing helps collect data to see if the solution meets the criteria.

After testing, engineers evaluate the solution. If it does not meet expectations, they redesign and test again.

Finally, engineers present the solution by documenting and communicating their work. If improvements are needed, the design process is repeated.
