picture graphs

A picture graph is a visual representation of data using images or symbols to represent quantities.

To determine the difference in quantities, compare the symbols or images representing each category and calculate the difference in their values.

It indicates that more individuals or items belong to that category compared to the other.

The most favorite item is represented by the category with the highest number of symbols or images.

The scale indicates how many items each symbol or image represents, allowing for accurate interpretation of the data.

The least favorite item is represented by the category with the fewest symbols or images.

Picture graphs can represent categorical data, such as preferences, survey results, or any data that can be grouped into categories.

Count the number of symbols or images for each category and multiply by the value each symbol represents according to the scale.

The purpose of using a picture graph is to visually communicate data in an easily understandable format.

To compare two categories, count the symbols for each and analyze the difference in their quantities.
