Explain how any particular animal had to have been designed and not evolved.

Giraffe - If the long neck evolved before the sponge in it's neck, they wouldn't have survived - their heads would have exploded. But there is not evolutionary purpose for the sponge to exist without the long neck. Bombardier Beetle - If the chemicals in it's body had evolved without the barrier between the two chemicals, the beetle would explode. But there is no evolutionary purpose for the barrier without the 2 chemicals. Chicken Egg - Baby chicks instinctually know that they have to break out of the shell on the 19th day. Instinct can't evolve. They couldn't learn to do that, because none would have survived in the learning process. THERE ARE MANY more - just make sure that you explain how it couldn't have evolved and not just listing unique features.

Have scientists been able to show a step-by-step process for how the eye evolved?

No, because it is impossible for different parts of the eye to evolved at different rates. Every part of the eye had to exist in order for it to work at all.

What if scientists could create life from non-living life in a lab? Would that show life could be created without intelligent design or intervention?

No, because a scientist would have to orchestrate the experiment, making the scientist the intelligent designer.
