Hercules makes a deal with Hades. He agrees to trade his strength for Meg's safety. This scene builds suspense in the journey.

Hades uses the Titans as his army and begins to take over Mount Olympus. Hercules must face this battle without his strength. During the battle, he almost loses, but Hercules wins in the end.

Hercules loses Meg but regains his strength. Getting his strength back is a gift to him because it allows him to defeat Hades once and for all.
