This is a wordy question but just put the information we have in the formulae and di the calculation.

first 10000 x 4.5

then divide by 40

Answer:

10,000 x 4.5 = 45,000

To help me have a sense of scale I time without the decimal: 10,000 x 4 is 40,000 so I just need to change the zero after the 4 by a 5

45,000 ÷ 40 = 1,125
