• - closed path is called an ORBIT
  - earth has one moon, appears so large because of proximity to earth

• - ISS and GPS are satellites

• - are irregularly shaped rocks that did not become part of a planet

• - Asteroid belt: lots of asteroids and jupiter holds them in so they don't make way to sun and other planets
