Thank you for the opportunity to introduce myself. Good day, Miss/Mister. My Full name is Adam Nur Muhamad Sidik, but you can call me Adam. I am 25 years old. I live in Magelang.  I live with my mom, my dad, my little sister, and me. I also have completed 3 months of hotel training, and now I have 2 years of experience working as a daily worker in the kitchen at The Cangkringan Hotel & Spa. That’s a little about me. Tell me about your Home Town and your family

I am is a first child in my small family. All member of my family is a hardworker. My mom ranch a groceries store, my dad is a cashier and my little sister worked at a factory.

we live in Magelang City. It is a peaceful and beautiful small city, surrounded by hills and mountains. Located between two major cities, Magelang became growing economically. Many people work as factory workers or farmers. The people are Javanese, known for their rich culture. Traditional dances like Jathilan and Topeng Ireng are very popular there.

During the holiday season, Magelang becomes quite busy because it has many tourist destinations, such as Borobudur Temple and Merapi mountain. That’s a little information about my hometown.

After I finished school, I joined hotel training for 3 months. After that, I got a chance to work in The Cangkringan Hotel and Spa as a daily worker in the kitchen. Until now, I already work there for 2 years

Tell me about your working experience

I have 2 years of working experience as a daily worker at Cangkringan Hotel. My daily job is to clean the kitchen tools, wash plates, help in dishwashing area, and keep the kitchen area clean. I also follow safety and hygiene standards.

Tell me your position and your responsibilities

I apply for the galley steward position. This is similar to my job now in the hotel. I clean kitchen tools, do dishwashing, throw garbage, sanitize the area, and follow standard such as USPH. I also report to my supervisor.

Tell me your woking flow.

My working flow is starting from preparing cleaning tools, checking dishwashing machine, collecting dirty plates, cleaning them, sanitizing the area, and throwing garbage. After finish, I report to my supervisor.

there is Kitchen, inside it, its has various and complete equipment such as stove, freezer, oven exhaust and many more that made staff cook work easily.

The Cangkringan Villa Jogja & Spa is a 5-star hotel located on Merapi Raya Street, Plosokerep, Umbulharjo, Cangkringan, Sleman, Yogyakarta. It is a small, elegant resort that combines traditional Javanese and modern design. The resort has 19 luxury villas, each designed differently, with 5 types of villas: Arum Ndalu, Gading V, Mayang V, Maya V, and Manggar V. It also has 8 guest rooms surrounded by tropical gardens. Some villas have private swimming pools and open-air living spaces. There are many facilities, including: Swimming pools, A restaurant, Gym/fitness center, Luxurious spa, Playground, Meeting rooms and a ballroom, Tennis court, Mini golf/chipping area, Jogging and cycling track and also. The restaurant, Sri Gading Restaurant, features beautiful classic Javanese-style architecture. It serves a wide range of dishes, from local Indonesian to international food. They use American service style for à la carte and buffet style for set menus (table d’hôte). The restaurant can serve up to 50 guests, with indoor air-conditioned seating or outdoor dining. There’s a big-screen TV and comfortable couches, making it feel cozy and elegant at the same time.

Tell me how you get into hotel

After graduating, I heard from a friend about a job opening at Cangkringan Hotel. I applied and was accepted as a trainee, even though my field of study was different. I learned a lot as a kitchen steward. After that, I worked as a daily worker and gained two years of experience in the hotel industry. That is  a little story abt how I can get in the hotel
