Apprentices need to pass all CCA classes with what percent or better?
Back
80%
Answer explanation
CCA Classes:
○ Apprentices are expected to have an 80% or better in all classes at the end of each semester.
○ If apprentices end the semester with less than a B average, they will be on academic watch. This means that they must end the following semester with an average above a B, or they may be released from the program.
○ If an apprentice ends a semester with less than a 70%, they will be required to retake the course and pay for it themselves by the end of the following semester. If this is not completed, the apprentice will be released from the program.
Learning Labs:
○ For Learning Labs, apprentices are expected to be “proficient” or above by the end of the semester.
○ If an apprentice is “developing” or below at the end of a semester, they will have the following semester to gather evidence toward their Prior Learning Assessment. Apprentices will attempt to move to “proficient” by the end of the next semester. If they are still “developing” or below by the end of the next semester, they may be released from the program.
