What is the writing process?
Writing an essay takes time. That’s why writing is often referred to as a process.
This includes the STEPS TAKEN to complete a writing ASSIGNMENT.

*Prewriting literally means “before writing.”

EDITING - Step 4
CAPITALIZATION must be used for proper nouns, names, titles, beginning of sentences, and "I".
USAGE: checked to avoid sentence fragments, make sure verb tense is consistent, and check for subject verb agreement
PUNCTUATION: Ensure you are using correct punctuation marks after opening phrases and clauses, at the end of sentences, and when combining sentences.
SPELLING: Use your resources to check all words including homophones.
