Newborn 

• This a litter of newborn mice.

• A litter is all the babies born from a mammal at the same time.

One week 

• A mouse is very tiny when it is born. Its eyes and ears are closed.

• It does not have hair.

• Baby  mice grow quickly.

Two weeks

• When a mouse is two weeks old it looks like its parents.

• It has hair.

• It eyes and ears are open.
  
  

Three weeks 

• When a mouse is three weeks old it leaves the nest .

Adult 

• Soon the mouse can have babies of its own.

• The life cycle begins again.
