What is a run on sentence?

  • It is a string of multiple sentences without punctuation to make them readable. 

  • Example: Grandma teaches us how to play piano it isn't easy.

How do you fix run on sentences? 

  • Split them into two sentences.

  • Use a comma and a conjunction.
