Paintings were found in caves and rocks .They probably used different colors of  powder from plants and mixed with water to form the paint. They painted using animal hair or fur as a brush or just used sticks dipped in paint.

Why did art have an important place in prehistory ?

• It provided amusement and showed their skill

• To inform or show about a particular thing to each others .

• It was also used for communicating when speaking or writing was not developed
