Intro Words

The main intro words are Ego Sum, Puella, and Puer. Ego sum means I am. Ego means I and sum means am. Puella means girl and Puer means boy.  * Where Latin pronunciation differs from English*  v=w * g= hard g, like gut not gem * c= hard c, like cat not cent.*

Adjectives

The intro adjectives you need to know are fessa and strena. Fessa means tired and strena means energetic. These words are used a lot in Latin. Ex. Ego sum fessa. Ego sum fessa means I am tired in English.

Scholarly Words

Discipula and sedeo both are important words for schools related subjects. Discipula equals student and sedeo equals sit. Some ways to add to sit are: in sella= in the chair, in mensa = at the table, extra= outside, and penitus = inside.
