When the numbers have the same number of digits and the gap between them isn't too big to place on a number line

Tips to compare and order numbers 

1) First you have to count the number of digits in each number, the less the digits the smaller the number
2) Start by comparing the highest value going down to the lowest if the numbers have the same number of digits
3) Use the number line if needed
