Possessive pronouns show ownership and replace possessive noun phrases, such as:
1. The guitar is hers.
2. “The parking space is ours!” screamed Gina.

Possessive pronouns.

Possessive pronouns include  mine, ours, its, his,  hers, theirs, and yours - all words that demonstrate ownership.

Possessive adjectives.

A possessive adjective is followed by a noun it modifies where as a possessive pronoun replaces a noun or a phrase.
A possessive adjective is an adjective that is used to show ownership such as:  my, your, his,  her    it’s,  our,  their.

Give some examples of possessive adjectives in a sentence.
