Some nouns have irregular plurals.
There are special rules for them!

SOME nouns that end in "f" or "fe" change the "f" to "v" and add "es."
wolf → wolves
leaf → leaves
life → lives

While others.... don't.
roof → roofs

Unforunately, you just have to memorize them.
A good rule, though, is that, if it looks wrong, it probably is.
wolf → wolfs → NO!!!!
roof → rooves → NO!!!!

For nouns that end in a vowel and "o," add -s.
Remember that vowels are a, e, i, o, and u!
radio → radios
video → videos
rodeo → rodeos

For nouns that end in a consonant and "o," you add -s to some and -es to others.

If it looks weird, it's probably not right.
If you wrote "pianoes," that looks super weird, right?
That's because it's wrong!
