  • All possible x values for a function

  • Ask yourself does this go left or right

  • Left= negative infinity

  • Right=positive infinity

  • All possible y values for a function

  • Ask yourself does the graph go up or down?

  • Up=positive infinity

  • Down=negative infinity

  • Type the equation into Desmos

  • Find the "start"

  • the x-coordinate will be the beginning (if the graph goes to the right) or the end (if the graph goes to the left) of your domain
