  • Review the previous lesson by asking oral questions about importance of water to plant, animals and even industries.

Oceans

  • All the water in oceans is salty. It can't be uses for drinking.

    Five great Oceans are 1. Pacific Ocean 2. Atlantic Ocean 3. Indian Ocean 4. Arctic ocean 5. Southern Ocean

  • Pacific Ocean is the largest Ocean. It covers about a third of the surface of the Earth.

  • All the Oceans are connected to each other. This means that the water mix.

Seas

  • All water in the sea is salty. Some of this salt has come from volcanoes under the sea, but most of it has dissolved from rocks on land.

  • The largest of the world's seas is the South China Sea.

  • Some seas include 1). Red sea 2). Meditteranean sea 3). Arabian sea 4). Sargasso Sea 5.) South China Sea.

Fresh water

  • Most of the water we need for drinking, washing ,cooking and growing plants comes from lakes and rivers.This is called fresh water.

  • Fresh water is found also in the form of ice. Ice is found on top of high mountains. Ice that flows down as a slow-flowing river is called a glacier.

  • There are huge quantities of fresh water under the ground and in the air.
