Make your goals S.M.A.R.T!

  • S - Specific (What is your goal?)

  • M - Measurable (What do you need to do to reach it?)

  • A - Achievable (How will you track your progress?)

  • R - Relevant (How does this goal improve you?)

  • T - Timely (When will you reach your goal by?)

3

What does a SMART goal look like?

  • Specific: I want to give every student specific feedback on their "Get to Know Me" homework assignment.

  • Measurable: To reach this goal, I need to grade at least 10 assignments each day this week.

  • Achievable: I will track my progress by putting the grades into ConceptSIS as I go, so I can't leave anyone out.

  • Relevant: This goal will improve me because it will help me get to know each student and respond to them individually.

  • Timely: I plan to reach my goal by Saturday.
