What do you think “email etiquette” means? Why is it important to have “email etiquette"? What are some of your expectations of others when they communicate with you in writing?

Cover Your Bases

You may want to acknowledge the person who has been cc'ed in the body of your message.

Language is Decorative
Like the clothes you wear, the way you use language sends a message to the people with whom you communicate about who you are.
HOW you communicate is equally as important as WHAT you communicate.
17
Staying Neutral
Often times, a neutral or passive voice is the best choice when writing a formal email. Messages that do not use neutral voice tend to come of more aggressive and even accusatory, and often lead to miscommunications and misunderstandings.
