Planning and preparation of assessments is essential to ensure that you have communicated to the learner and the employer the purpose of the assessment and to agree the practical arrangements.

Communication is an important aspect not just to pass on information but also to listen and build effective working relationships whilst motivating and inspiring learners.

We need to pay attention to how we communicate in written form, verablly and non-verbally.

Your tone of voice is as important as what you actually say and how you say it.
