Absolute Value and Integers
Opposites - Same distance from zero but on opposite sides of zero
The sum of two opposites is zero
Absolute Value - The distance between a number and zero on a number line , The numbers will always be positive the Absolute value of -432 is 432
Comparing and Ordering Integers - Negative numbers represent the numbers to the left of zero on the number line, Positive numbers are to the right of zero , Numbers increase in value from left to right on the number line , Zero is a Neutral Number

Greater than = Right Greater
Less than = Left
Bigger side should face the bigger number
Greatest to least means - the biggest number to the smallest number
Least to Greatest means - smallest number to the biggest number

Keep sign of first Integer , Change the minus to a plus , & change the sign of the second Integer to it's opposite , then follow rules for addition

Multiplying and Dividing Integers
Multiplying and Dividing have the same rules .
If the Integers have the same sign your answer will always be Positive .
If the Integers have different signs your answer will always be Negative .

Ascending & Descending
Ascending sounds like up so - Smallest to Largest
Descending sounds like down so - Largest to Smallest

Exponents
Exponents - tell us how many times a number is multiplied by itself .
34 the larger number is consider to be the Base & the smaller number is the exponent
34 = (3 x 3 x 3 x 3) = Expanded Notation

Prime Factorization
Prime Factorization - Writing a number as a product of prime numbers using a Factor Tree
Prime Number - A number greater than 1 that has exactly 2 Factors (Ex. 3,5,7,2)
Composite Number - A number greater than 1 that has More than 2 Factors (Ex. All even Numbers EXCEPT 2 )
