Grammar and Punctuation: Writing Questions and Exclamations in Spanish

When writing questions (interrogative) and excited (exclamatory) sentences in Spanish, you have to make sure there are punctuations at the beginning and end of the sentence. When wrting a question there need to be an upside down question mark at the beginning and a regular question mark at the end. For example: ¿Cómo estas?"

When writing excited (exclamatory) sentences in Spanish, an upside down exclamation point needs to be written in the beginning of the sentence and then a regular exclamation point at the end.

For example: ¡Hola, Clara, Buenas Tardes!

Students will create a dialogue that is at least four lines using the greetings, questions, and responses in Spanish. The dialogue will be between two characters the students will create.

When finished students will submit their dialogue through the Zoom chat. Be sure to check your work before sending. You have 7 minutes to finish the dialogue.
