What is a Career Cluster?

Career Clusters separate different types of careers into different categories based on their traits and characteristics. There are 16 different career clusters. Three examples of these clusters are Education and Training, Information Technology, and STEM.

Career Cluster Interest Survey

• Once you answer all of the questions, the assessment will show you the top three career clusters that match your interests.

• There may be a tie between 1, 2 or 3 or more clusters. If so, you can choose one of the tied clusters. (Example: STEM (24), Education & Training (20), Health Science (15), Transportation (15), Finances (15). I can choose my third career cluster between Health Science, Transportation, or Finances)

• You can then click on the title of the cluster to further explore it. Read more about careers by clicking "Careers in this cluster"

• Write your top 3 career clusters on the Career Cluster form (link in Edmodo assignment) and then "thumbs up" in the Google Meet and wait patiently for further directions

You will be doing group career presentations. Brianna and Dr. Dowski are going to take your results and place you in groups. Groups are then going to present one of the career clusters to the class. We will have further directions on Wednesday during the Google Meet.
