Formas de expressar o futuro em inglês
Nós podemos utilizar diversas formas para expressar o futuro na língua inglesa, vamos abordar o uso do Present Simple, Present Continuous, be going to + infinitive e will + infinitive.
3
Present simple
Ex: Hurry up, the bus leaves in 5 minutes.
4
Present Simple
Ex: My day tomorrow is like any other. I wake up, eat, work, go home and sleep.
5
Present Continuous
Ex: I am seeing my eye-doctor tomorrow.
6
Be + going to + Infinitive
Usamos Be + going to + Infinitive para expressar tempo futuro nos seguintes casos:
Ex: He is going to turn 18 next week.
b) Ao fazermos previsões embasadas em evidências.
Ex: I saw the weather forecast and it says that it is going to rain on the weekend.
7
Will + Infinitive
Ex: I think they will travel on the holiday.
Ex: You know what? I will do the dishes now before i forget about them.
8
Will + Infinitive

Ex: I promise I will do my homework.
Ex: This bag looks heavy. I'll carry it for you.
e) Ao fazermos um pedido.
Ex: Will you open the window, please?
9
Will + Infinitive
Ex: I think my team will win the game tomorrow.
g) Ao usarmos construções condicionais.
Ex: She will come to the party if you invite her.
h) Quando usamos construções temporais.
Ex: I'll call you as soon as i get home.
10
Will x Shall
11
Will x Shall
I think i will be late tonight = I shall be late tonight.
I will probably be hungry soon = I shall probably be hungry soon.
I will close the window for you = I shall close the window for you.
12
Will x Shall
I think i won't be late tonight = I shan't be late tonight.
I probably won't be hungry soon = I shan't probably be hungry soon.
I won't close the window for you = I shan't close the window for you.
13
Will x Shall
Veja a seguir:
Shall we go? (Podemos/Devemos ir? Estamos prontos para ir?)
Shall i shut the door? (Devo fechar a porta?
Will we go? (Nós iremos?)
Will i shut the door? (Eu que terei que fechar a porta?)
Will you shut the door? (Feche a porta.)
