Today we are going to be talking about how to build you mega base and some Ideas for them.

Getting the resources

• Getting the resources is always the most boring part of it all when you want to build something you should always get more then you think you are going to need because if you don't then you are going to have to pause the building to get more resources.

• When you are getting resources you want to be prepared if you are doing a big building project then you want skulker boxes to carry your supplies.

Time

• One of the other big things is time. You don't want to make your base or get all the supplies at one time. If you do then it makes it so that you get bored of the game. If you don't have time to build it all at once then don't.

Ideas

• There are multiple ideas of how to build a mega base it is a game where you can build anything so don't go of other people you can build anything you want you can take build tips or ideas but no full builds. I am going to just give you some ideas on what to build.

• The first build that I really recommend is an underground base. I recommend this and I always make it in my worlds now is because you can dig anyway you want you can make a room over there or there or there and It will always look good as long as you decorate the inside it does not have to be the same on every side or room and you can make them as big as you want. But the one downside is you have to dig it all out. But you would have to get the cobblestone anyways so why not.

Ideas #2

• The second thing I recommend is building in the sky. You may be wondering "Cameron that is going to make my world look weird". I say two things to that one is anything not weird in MInecraft like come on. The second thing is that if you really care about that then don't build it that high so you can make a mountain under it to make it look real. But the real reason why I recommend this is because you have almost infinite space up there. The down side is that you have to get a lot of resources because you have to detail the inside and outside of the build.

• The last build for a mega base I recommend is a mix. What I mean by that is have A little or big house and then a staircase or ladder to an underground part.

Tips for detail

• I am not good on writing how to do details but I will try. The first tip on building is probably commonly known but scale beats detail. If you want to make a really detailed and with circles and curves and arches, scale beats detail. As you all may know minecraft is a block game so it is not round. But if you make it big then you can make the blocks look like curves. The second thing is probably the most commonly known detail. It is using the little tree method. It is where you put a oak log in a corner with trapdoors around it with oak leaves on top going to the ceiling but if your roof is high then not all the way.
